George Cummings began shooting video of his oceanic expleditions in 1986 while living and working in Australia. When George is not working on the HEADHUNTER project he and his partner Jane, spend their diving time in Cozumel learning all they can from one of the masters of the sea, Sergio Sandoval . Jane and George have enjoyed 100’s of volunteer hours helping Eels On Wheels, where they have participated in creating scuba experiences for kids and adults with disabilities. Anyone who knows George understands his desire to give back to the planet, to achieve his goal “of making a difference”, by educating and helping people increase their appreciation for our fragile oceans. 1988 George moved to S. Austin and opened AVCA his multimedia production company. His father’s 20+ year Air Force career instilled pride, respect, and honor for the men and women who put their lives at risk providing freedom to people all over the world, which is why the HEADHUNTER project means so much to George’s family. George is also documenting scuba training for soliders at the Center For Intrepid Wounded Warrior Sports Project This project helps soldiers returning from Afghanistan and Iraq who have lost an arm or leg participate in diving and other extreme sports.
